LÖM RESERVE : Luxury Made In The USA

Stage One:

The LÖM RESERVE Collections begins with passion and dedication to bring luxury handbags and accessories entirely made in the USA to the luxury marketplace. Designer and founder Jerusha Fox takes inspiration from fashion, architecture, nature, pop culture, female icons and music. An initial design is sketched and a pattern is made.

Stage Two:

The most important feature of the Collection is selecting responsibly sourced luxury materials. All Leather & American Alligator Skins are responsibly sourced and hand selected. Our partner is dedicated to bringing the highest quality Grade I Alligator that is also a repurposed byproduct. The highest quality natural fiber is also selected from herds and small batch spinners across the Americas. Some rare and luxurious fibers are sourced from herds on mountains in far away places.

Stage Three:

This stage has many steps that are too involved to go into and begin with the designer processing the thread and in some cases hand dyes thread to a specific color. Then, the thread is placed individually on a warping board for pattern and size specification. After that, the designer beams the warp on the antique barn loom, Blondie, built in 1730. Again, this stage involves many steps including threading each thread in a specific order through the eye of each heddle (sometimes up to 2,000), for pattern. Then, the designer hand weaves the fiber with yardage up to 30 plus yards.

Stage four:

At this stage the designer brings the luxury hand woven materials, American Alligator and accessory hardware to our expert leather worker who hand crafts each bag.

Stage Five:

Finally, the woven material goes through a traditional ritual to bless the fabric. The designer places each LÖM RESERVE handbag into a beautiful hand cut box with goodies that share the story behind the LÖM Collection! LÖM RESERVE is dedicated to handcrafting sustainable luxury made of our land and by our people!
